TA Announces Global Promotions

TA Associates (“TA”), a leading global private equity firm, today announced several promotions across the Firm’s global offices, effective January 1, 2026.

On TA’s investment team, Stefan Dandl has been promoted to Managing Director; Charles Ha to Director; Taisuke Asada, Giovanni Fantini, Aashray Mehra, John Triebsch and Eric Zagorski to Principal; Adrien Elbaz, Katie Gamble, Chris Hong, Laurent Indekeu, Enzo Loreti and Kaelan Ong to Senior Vice President; and Andreas Faerber to Vice President.

Stefan Dandl earned the promotion to Managing Director. Based in TA’s London office, Stefan focuses on investments in technology and financial services companies in EMEA and leads TA’s efforts in German-speaking countries. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Chaos, Cyncly, IGEL, Nexus AG, Priority Software, SER Group, thinkproject and Unit4, and is actively involved in TA’s investment in The Access Group. Prior to joining TA in 2013, he worked in the Investment Banking Division, Media and Technology Group, at J.P. Morgan.

Charles Ha earned the promotion to Director. Based in TA’s Boston office, Charles focuses on investments in software companies in North America. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of PairSoft, PowerGEM, Revalize, Riskonnect, Technosylva and Veracode, and is a Board Observer of Mediaocean. Charles is also an active investor in KX, and previously served as a Board Observer of Power Line Systems, prior to its sale to Bentley Systems. Before joining TA in 2019, he was a Vice President at General Catalyst, and previously an Associate at North Bridge Growth Equity.

Taisuke Asada earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s Hong Kong office, Tai focuses on investments in technology, healthcare, business and financial services companies in the Asia-Pacific region. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Payroll Inc and is a Board Observer of Gong Cha. Prior to joining TA in 2022, Taisuke was an Executive Officer at WingArc 1st Inc, and previously held roles at The Carlyle Group, Innovation Network Corporation of Japan and McKinsey & Company.

Giovanni Fantini earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s London office as part of the Europe Services Group, Giovanni leads TA’s efforts in Southern Europe. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of esPublico, Nactarome and Surfaces Group, and has been actively involved in TA's investment in Inspired, List and Kiwoko. Prior to joining TA in 2016, he was at NEO Investment Partners and previously worked in the EMEA M&A team at Nomura.

Aashray Mehra earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s London office, Aashray focuses on investments in data and information services, financial services and business services companies across Europe. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of FGE NexantECA and is a Board Observer of QIMA. Prior to joining TA in 2023, Aashray worked at BC Partners as a Private Equity Principal and in the Media & Communications Group at Morgan Stanley.

John Triebsch earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s Menlo Park office, John focuses on investments in software and technology companies across North America. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of FinQuery, PDQ, Precisely, Rocscience and Tungsten Automation, and is actively involved in TA’s investment in insightsoftware. Before joining TA in 2016, John was an Analyst in Investment Banking at Barclays Capital.

Eric Zagorski earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s Boston office, Eric focuses on investments in healthcare companies across North America. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Aptarro, HealthMark Group and Solarity. Prior to joining TA in 2021, Eric worked as a Senior Associate at Housatonic Partners and previously was an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Adrien Elbaz earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Adrien focuses on investments in technology companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Harvest, Lanas Healthcare Technologies Ltd., Orisha and smartTrade Technologies, and is actively involved in TA’s investments in Cyncly, esPublico, IFS, RLDatix, The Access Group and Workwave. Prior to joining TA in 2018, he was an Investment Associate at Park Square Capital.

Katie Gamble earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Boston office, Katie focuses on investments in software companies across North America. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Momentive Software and MRI Software, and is a Board Observer of KX. She previously supported TA’s investments in Aptean, Fortra, Radiant Logic, and Revalize. Prior to joining TA in 2018, Katie worked in the M&A and Equity Capital Markets Groups at Morgan Stanley.

Chris Hong earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Boston office, Chris focuses on investments in software companies across North America. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of PairSoft, is a Board Observer of Certinia, CSI, Ivanti and Sovos, and is an active investor in KX. Prior to joining TA in 2018, he worked in the Technology Group at Guidepost Growth Equity.

Laurent Indekeu earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Laurent focuses on investments in technology companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Epassi Group, is a Board Observer of Hubexo, and is actively involved in TA's investments in IFS, Interswitch and Workwave. He also leads TA’s technology investment efforts across the Benelux region. Prior to joining TA in 2019, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division, Media and Telecom Group.

Enzo Loreti earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Enzo focuses on investments in healthcare companies across Europe. He is currently a Board Observer of Biocomposites and Diatech Pharmacogenetics. Before joining TA in 2019, Enzo was a member of the Healthcare Group at Jefferies International Ltd.

Kaelan Ong earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Hong Kong office, Kaelan focuses on investments in technology and tech-enabled businesses in Asia-Pacific, with a cross-vertical focus in Southeast Asia. He is currently a Board Observer of Payroll Inc. Kaelan is also actively involved in TA’s investments in Faria Education Group, Hubexo, ITRS, Priority Software, Riskonnect and Unit4. Prior to joining TA in 2019, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the EMEA Technology Group.

Andreas Faerber earned the promotion to Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Andreas focuses on investments in technology companies across Europe, with a specific focus on German-speaking countries. Prior to joining TA in 2021, Andreas was an Investment Associate at Novalpina Capital and previously worked at Citi in the Investment Banking Division.
