TA Convenes EMEA Portfolio Company Leaders for Post-Merger Integration Conference
Strategic Resource Group’s conference brought together portfolio company executives to share how they approach integration after close
Realizing the strategic value of an acquisition depends heavily on integration after close. On October 21 and 22, TA’s Strategic Resource Group (SRG) hosted a Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Conference in London, bringing together leaders from across the Firm’s EMEA portfolio to share what works.
The program combined presentations, live demonstrations and breakout roundtables covering how to build a lasting PMI capability, prepare to integrate before close, and deliver revenue and cost synergies.
Portfolio company leaders drove the agenda, including:
- Mike Driscoll, Director of M&A Integration, Orla Brady, Chief of Staff to CEO, and Elio Delgado, Integration Lead (The Access Group), on building PMI into an enduring capability;
- Mike Osborn, Chief Customer Officer (Agilio), on what it takes to be ready to integrate and the key enablers that help an acquisition deliver value;
- Live demos from Federico Paolone (Nactarome), Mike Osborn (Agilio), and Elio Delgado (The Access Group) on how their teams have built AI and digital tools to develop integration plans, track progress and support value creation;
- João Gonçalves (Cyncly) on lessons from Cyncly’s cross-sell journey and what it takes to deliver revenue synergies.
SRG also facilitated breakout roundtables on broader value creation such as making synergies stick and deciding on the key outcomes of an integration.
SRG is proud to work alongside portfolio company management teams on a broad range of operational and financial initiatives, including programmatic M&A and integration best practices. Thank you to our portfolio company speakers, to all attendees, and to TA’s Isabelle Donis, Principal, and Christine Bartunek, Associate, of SRG for leading the program.
